The S.L., and a dominant watching-Law-and-Order allele

Ben and I went to Shady Lady this morning, and one of my favorite Avett Brothers songs was playing while I ate my brunch!  I had the Two Egg Breakfast and coffee, and Ben had the Breakfast Sandwich and coffee.  I can't believe it's almost been two months since I dined at my favorite brunch location (I should probably blame Doughbot).  There's a fancy new display case and I no longer recognize the waitresses or bartenders.

Since brunch, I have been preparing for my upcoming work week, and I'll be glad when this week is over.  I'm trying to study for a test on Thursday, but so far I've watched several episodes of Toddlers and Tiaras, eaten several snacks, washed some dishes, put away laundry that's been sitting out for two weeks, watched a David Boreanaz movie, and drank 5 glasses of tea.  I studied a little bit, but I painted my nails a particularly distracting shade of gold, and I can't look beyond them to read about plant breeding techniques.

Seriously, which would you rather look at?

Also, any hope I have at getting more plant breeding studying done before Wednesday night Thursday morning has been lost, due to the fact that I just started watching Law & Order.  I'll just leave a note on my midterm that says my genetics compel me to prioritize Law & Order....
